Video Update from Eppie Everywhere Foundation

REDEEM HAITI has partnered with Eppie Everywhere Foundation (EEF) to continue Project Judy with our goal to provide Judy dolls for Haitian orphans. Gwen Lord, director of EEF and creator of dolls has organized volunteers to construct dolls and pray for the hands that will one day hold these simple gifts of love. The project needs your help in sponsoring these dolls and sending them to Haiti.  With the generous help of EEF we can now send more dolls for less money.  Please considering a contribution and help us show a little grace to the orphans of Haiti.

Project Judy at ReTech South

Project Judy at ReTech South

Project Judy made an appearance at REtech South this past weekend. 30 dolls were donated bringing the total to over 50 dolls.  That is 50 orphans who will be given a simple gift of comfort and hope.  Please keep praying and promoting.

Judys are NOW only $20!

Judys are NOW only $20!

Through the generous support of a donor you can now donate $20 for a Judy doll, instead of  the previous $30, until we reach 1,000 dolls! This makes giving every Haitian orphan a Judy even easier.  Send 5 Judys for $100! GIVE JUDY! Thanks for continuing to give!

Goal #1: 1,000 Judys

The goal of  Project Judy is to give every orphan in Haiti a Judy doll.  REDEEM HAITI is about connecting the church with Haiti and their community of need.  After visiting and witnessing first hand many orphanages and children in Haiti, the need for a toy is apparent. Many children were playing with pieces of trash and rubble and a Judy doll is more then just a toy or a doll. This doll allows them to have a constant companion that has been given with love, prayer and care. These children will receive this doll with a note and each child will know that someone else cared enough to give them a toy.

Because we are centered around the local church, the hope is that Project Judy will become a simple ministry project of local churches.  As this project starts we begin with an attainable goal of 1,000 Judys.  There are well over 1,000 churches in a 25 mile radius of Canton, GA. What if each church gave 1 Judy doll? Goal #1 would be met.  Some churches within 10 miles of Canton, GA have over 1,000 members. What if a church committed to provide a doll from every member of their church? If that happened then Goal #1 would be met: 1,000 children would receive a Judy doll; 1,000 children! Become a part of this project and give a Judy now. Through giving you will be a part of giving a little piece of hope and grace to the orphans in Haiti.

Trash is Not a Toy!

During our visit to orphanages we saw a very sad pattern – orphans without toys.  Help us put an end to this this! GIVE JUDY today!

Project Judy is pleased to announce that the first 100 Judys donated will be matched. In other words, when you donate one Judy, you essentially donate two.

Stuffing Judy with Love

Stuffing Judy with Love

Judy isn’t just a doll stuffed with cotton. No, Judy is made with the kind of care that includes lots of love and prayer.  Fifteen volunteers managed to stuff doll parts for about 180 dolls today in 3 hours.  The ladies meet in a Sunday School room and because of their efforts 50 Judys are ready to go.  The next volunteer gathering for Project Judy will be held in the Fellowship Hall of First Baptist Church in Canton, GA, and there will be more room for a much larger group of ladies if anyone else is interested.

According to Gwen Lord, owner of Things of Joy Inc. and maker of Eppie “Judy” dolls,  “This has been an exciting start for our part in your project.  Some of the ladies took arms and legs home with them to finish the stuffing part of prepping the 224 dolls in this batch.  I think they will be complete by the first of next week.  I am so blessed to be in service to our Lord with you and Grace to the Nations.”
